    01. THE CHALLENGE

    DB Contention & Sync Latency

The client, a rapidly growing luxury fashion retailer, faced critical scaling bottlenecks during seasonal peak traffic. Their existing monolithic WooCommerce setup suffered from database locks, inefficient inventory synchronization with third-party ERPs, and slow checkout response times during flash sales.

    02. THE ARCHITECTURE

    Orchestrating the Stack

    Cloudflare Workers Optimization Redis WooCommerce

Moving from a monolithic bottleneck to a distributed, cloud-native automation stack meant rethinking every layer of the checkout path.

    Decoupled Processing

Order processing and complex business logic moved away from the WordPress core into dedicated micro-workers, eliminating the database contention that caused checkout failures during flash sales.

    Edge-Layer Caching

Dynamic bypass caching via Cloudflare Workers now serves semi-static product pages at light speed, while a custom middleware syncs inventory in under 5 seconds across 4 separate sales channels.

Execution stack: Redis Cache, Elasticsearch, n8n Automation, Docker Swarm, Cloudflare Workers.
